Repair Punch Through
By default, Blu-Link™ is set so that regardless of what device you are using, when you change the volume, it is sent to the TV. This is called “punch through.” If you have changed punch through and it is not working as expected, please follow these steps to repair the Punch Through settings. |
Turn TV Punch Through On |

| Step 1: | Enter setup mode by holding the TV device button down for 3 seconds. After 3 seconds all of the device buttons will blink to confirm that you are in setup mode. | ||
| Step 2: | Press the volume up (Vol +) key to turn punch through back on for TV. | Turn DVD/VCR Punch Through On |

| Step 3: | Enter setup mode by holding the DVD/VCR device button down for 3 seconds. After 3 seconds all of the device buttons will blink to confirm that you are in setup mode. | ||
| Step 4: | Press the volume up (Vol +) key to turn punch through back on for DVD/VCR. | Turn CBL/SAT Punch Through On |

| Step 5: | Enter setup mode by holding the CBL/SAT device button down for 3 seconds. After 3 seconds all of the device buttons will blink to confirm that you are in setup mode. | ||
| Step 6: | Press the volume up (Vol +) key to turn punch through back on for CBL/SAT. | Turn DVR Punch Through On |

| Step 7: | Enter setup mode by holding the DVR device button down for 3 seconds. After 3 seconds all of the device buttons will blink to confirm that you are in setup mode. | ||
| Step 8: | Press the volume up (Vol +) key to turn punch through back on for the DVR. | Turn AUX Punch Through On |

| Step 9: | Enter setup mode by holding the AUX device button down for 3 seconds. After 3 seconds all of the device buttons will blink to confirm that you are in setup mode. | ||
| Step 10: | Press the volume up (Vol +) key to turn punch through back on for the AUX device. | Set chosen device as master |

| Step 11: | Choose which device you wish to have be the new Punch Through Master. (Generally TV or AUX) | ||
| Step 12: | Enter setup by holding down the device key you wish to be the Punch Through Master for 3 seconds. After 3 seconds all of the device buttons will blink to confirm that you are in setup mode. | ||
| Step 13: | Press the Mute button to make that device the Punch Through Master. Sound commands will now be sent to that device for all devices. You can now turn Punch Through off for a device by following these steps. | ||
